Marko Zubak did it again!
He collected and portayed over 50 different papertoys “in the rough”, in their purest form, before becoming skinned, just the blank paper canvas. in his latest edition of II LOVE he displays them in his usual stylish way.

Seems that all this time the focus on paper toys was on finished products, admiring the
“skin” on certain shape. We can all witness how good skin design can impact even on simplest
forms and how some shapes function well with any decoration. In the process of creation,
these are two different phases which are easily separated.

here they finally come, the first Mecha6!
assembled are the finest customs by some of the finest papertoy-artist there are, the line-up reads like an all-star team..
the customs were done by Scott Schaller, Shin Tanaka, Tougui, MCK, Castleforte and Marshall Alexander!!
each one is better than the previous one, and i can’t really make out a favorite, can you?
and is there even a way to top that in series2? we will see.. and please write me to get the template, if you want to try one custom yourself!
but for now, please enjoy and build and post pictures and tell your friends: the Mecha6 have arrived!!
