Matthijs aka [MCK] released my favorite papertoy of the year! i already had the pleasure to
feast my eyes on it when i was at the event in amsterdam and i kept on nagging him to finally
show it to the world and make it available. last week he finally gave in to my and Dolly Oblongs pleads
and gave the world Revolvrr!!
it’s simply a blank toy, but it really doesn’t need anything more, so perfect in my opinion!
and i seem to be not alone on that one, it is matthijs most successful toy to date..
i already talked him into doing more toys like this, maybe even a “urban protection series”.. ^^

i was asked to do a canvas for this years loveparade and i drew these little happy raving MBuns alongside BERTone, who did a portait of Dr. Motte..
little did we know as to what would happen during the parade itself. i feel so sorry for everyone who got hurt or even worse and to their families and friends my deepest condolensces!

Saturday June 26 all summer-afternoon 3Eyedbear and his friends from StraatPapierHollandKlik will give acte de présence at the ABC Urban Arts Festival at the Spui-square in Amsterdam. Together with Matthijs -Grumm- Kamstra, 3Eyedbear will give a workshop and sign the new art-book on papertoys: We Are Papertoys. Come say hello :)
I am in munich right now and checking out the amazing graff and street art fair called Stroke!
it is really awesome to get all this input and meeting so many nice and totally gifted artists..next time you need to come!! ^^
I was asked by the lovely guys of ‘Schwarz auf Weiss – style needs no color‘ to exhibit two special blk/wht-editions of my MechaBunny and the big MBun also came along..! so cool to have had the chance of exhibiting it!
here are now some impressions of what I’ve been seeing here..and believe me, this is really just a tiny snippet of the four floors jam-packed with incredible and dope art!
some of SHOEs works can now be seen in my hometown Essen, as part of the Concrete Playground Exhibition that will grow until September at Zeche Zollverein..
he has also put out a book about his Calligraffitis, simply called Calligraffiti, you really need to get that!!

and again i couldn’t tell you my favorite, each one is so unique in its own way..love’em all!
